Mobbed

Is anyone watching this? what a panic…

DH and I are watching. I’m going through all the emotions with this couple.

wonder how they will top this one next week…

I can’t imagine but I plan to watch and see.

It was interesting. But it bugged me that they dropped her wedding dress over her head, over her clothes and then didnt even button it up the back! She’ll have this wonderful memory, this wonderful video to watch and her hair was a hot mess and her dress wasnt fastened! I cringed for her.

I totally agree with sistersunnie. I thought that they could have come up with a better way to get her into a dress that fit, without her original clothes underneath. This part actually ruined the whole show for me!

I thought it was silly to have the wedding right then and there. I can’t imagine any bride wanting a wedding like that. The planning and decision-making is such an important part of that special day. And the dress over her other clothes? Ridiculous. They should/could have stopped at the proposal and then just had a big party with all the friends who travelled there.

Absolutely agree with the top three posts. Call me a b---- but I would have been ticked off if my boyfriend expected me to go along with the wedding part of it. Did you notice when he asked her if she wanted to get married now? She looked like a deer in the headlights. I think that’s when HER fun ended.

i’m sure the BF was happy to have killed all that wedding planning in one, short, hideous public display, but is that what SHE wanted? Instead of getting to plan her own wedding she got 30 minutes of insanity, cameras rolling, sack dropped over her head, then BOOM you’re married, BYE! what???!! oh no no nooooo

In no way did I think that was their “wedding”. Sure, they went through all the motions, but surely they’ll have a real ceremony with with everything the way they want at a later time. It’s been many years since I was married, but I’m assuming they would have to apply for a marriage certificate, etc. before they are officially married. Since he had not even proposed before the show, I’m sure they hadn’t applied for the certificate. That was just something “fun” I think. I’m sure the real deal will come later … at least I hope it does. I, too, would not want to be remembered going down the aisle in a dress that was thrown over my other clothes and wasn’t even buttoned up in the back.

^^ditto…

I mean seriously WHAT do you say to the request to get married right now, when the whole world is watching… I would have said yes but thats me. Even if you didnt want to - it would be so awkward to say no… Real ceremony or not, button the girls dress for goodness sakes!

@Splashmom…well for the girl’s sake I sure hope you’re right! Hopefully next week’s show won’t be so over the top…

Yes!

I just don’t see the point of it. What is fun about a fake wedding when you’re wearing a horrible gown that doesn’t fit and your makeup is a mess? For that matter, what is fun about a fake wedding, period? Why not just celebrate the engagement and leave it at that?

I felt like she was a pawn. Howie and her boyfriend called the shots and she was just a necessary part in the play…
