Mom messed up and sent my scores..what should i do

my mom sent my act score (23) to tulane. i dont want them to see this because i know i can get atleast a 30 by next october. i tried rescinding the score choice but wouldnt allow me. is there anything i can do??? thanks

Sorry, Your Mom didn’t mess up, you did… This is your life and if your Mom is helping, that’s all she is doing - helping you.

Nothing you can do for now, but Tulane won’t care as long as you do better next time…

I told her not to but she didn’t listen…so thats not helping. im just worried tulane will think i cheated if i get like a 30 in october next year…so they might not think my scores are legit.

infact, theyll think highly of your improvement.
itll help you , not deter you.

To prevent that from happening, change your ACT and SAT passwords. No one can send scores if they don’t have your passwords.

If your mom won’t consider your wishes for a legitimate concern such as not sending a low score, you need to protect yourself for future situations.

That said, if you raise your score, don’t worry, Tulane will just think that you were ill or something during the earlier test.

In the meantime…change your passwords.

Uhoh.

i wouldn’t worry though, just get a 30+ like you say you can, they won’t hold it against you. I am pretty most colleges would just take the higher score.

its mothers day. lay off your mom.

Next time, try to do things that you cant screw up yourself…or better off try not to rely on your parents that much…it’s your life anyways!

Kick her ass, if my mom did that, she’d be 6 feet under 12 hours ago.

I haven’t figured out how to quote yet. The function doesn’t work in quick reply >.<

" Kick her ass, if my mom did that, she’d be 6 feet under 12 hours ago. "

Oh YEAH! GET AGGRESSIVE WITH YOUR MOM FOR TRYING (failing, but trying!) TO HELP! AWESOME.

Yes. That was sarcasm.
