I probably won’t get into UChicago, but if I do, I don’t know if I’ll have enough money to go to grad school right after. I’m sure I’ll be in a lot of debt after my four years, would applying for law school be a problem? What other problems might I have?

It is very difficult to get aid at law schools. Many people work for a few years before applying to law school - this gives them a financial base as well as some time in the real world. This might be a good option if you attend U of C.

When you choose your list of schools, be sure to include at least a couple where you will be able to graduate debt free (or close to it). Circumstances change, and you want to have your options open when its time to select your school.

all right, that helps a lot. Thanks.
