hello all, just wondering if anyone could help with ideas for what i should do for next year-
i dont have alot of money saved up for school, and my family would be struggling to help me pay for college so should i go back home to colorado and pay in state tuition at colorado state, or university of colorado?
or try for a more prestigious, and academically challenging but more expensive east coast school like u mass, or cornell…?
any thoughts, ideas, anything would be helpful
thanks!

I think u mass and u colorado are pretty equal in terms of prestige and academics…

UMass will allow you to work within the college consortium though, which includes Amherst, Smith, Mount Holyoke, and Hampshire–all very top schools, especially Amherst and the 2 sisters. Your stats are above their average too, so you could try for some out of state scholarshps. It does have some very top ranked departments, like Linguistics.
