Greetings to engineering students! I am thinking of buying a monitor, as it would be more efficient if I can split the screen. And monitors on the 2nd floor and 4th floor computer labs (the one with Win 7 installed) in BH seem good to me; does anyone know the screen size of them?

I would be grateful for any reply. Thanks!

they were 24" Dell IPS monitors a few years ago. Not sure if it has changed.

Sounds reasonable to me. Thank you vesper!

Right.

off-topic, but what bugs me about seasnet is that the labs tend to be slow because it’s not a “bare-metal” install. Whenever you open a file in the //labsamba whatever (even if you’re in the physical lab), you’re accessing it through an internet connection.

My nearly decade old computer running linux is faster than the seasnet labs.
