We have possibly found our second monologue (D & I). It is a play by Wade Bradford, Cinema Limbo, but it is a 10 minute 2 person play. Is that a problem? I have found many of his plays online & some you can read all or part of online, but now I’m worried it’s not a “real play.” Would rather know now rather than later!

10 minute plays are fair game. My D used a monologue (chosen by her coach) from a 10 minute play, and no one questioned her about her use of it, and she was happily successful in her auditions. It’s a “real” play…no worries!

Shouldn’t be an issue. It’s from a published play. Just make sure it fits your D’s age; they don’t want kids to do a monologue written for a 6 or 60 year old .
