Monopoly: A Serious and Frank Discussion.

This may seem to be a silly question, but I would still like some feedback. I’m sure many of you have played the Monopoly board game before. My queries are as follows:

1) What, if any field in business relies on the same principles of business as Monopoly does?
2) If I like monopoly, would I find Investment Banking interesting (insofar as the deal making, etc.)

I think you should work for WalMart. :)

Hahaha! Well unfortunately I’m not aware of any ways to become the CEO of a monster corporation straight out of college so far now I’d like to know about Investment Banking or other, more attainable goals.

Why Investment banking?

lmao will i like investment banking if i enjoy playing monopoly.

your too funny for your own good.

You just want IB because they make “lots of money”. Get real, you’ll be working hard and to get one of those jobs is insanely tough.

This was more of a joke topic than anything if you haven’t noticed it. I’ve gotten real, I’ve read up on the job, and I know the reqs. Thanks undefined.

hahaha…
That was good. /applaud

If I could get into UPENN with the roll of dice…

I was reading something about Lee Iacoca and it actually mentioned monopoly when referring to his dad’s investment strategy. I don’t think it’s very related to i-banking but it has its lessons, at least in real estate.
