<p>Hospitals are either French or bilingual (English/French). The bilingual hospitals are often referred to as English hospitals due to their heritage. This is the residency site. A quick glance did not mention French language requirements.<br>

To become a fully licensed doctor in Quebec, a knowledge of French is required.</p>
<p>i dont know about the requirements but i know that if you don’t know french you will, as residents are required to spend a year or two in rural quebec, where they don’t speak english at all</p>
