Kutztown was under our radar as well, but she ended up not applying. Yes, it is in SU area and could totally be visited together. It sounds a lot cheaper than SU!

We ended up visiting. Nothing is wrong with the college, and it could certainly work for my daughter, but she liked Moravian much better.
I think SU is cheaper and I am really wondering if Moravian would negotiate given SU offer. The schools are similar, so we are comparing apples to apples. I wish someone here who tried this before, commented on the success (or lack of it) of their attempt

Maybe someone will weigh if they were able to negotiate specifically with Moravian or not but if you search the forum you’ll find experiences ranging from schools very willing to negotiate to those that give a hard no. I think you only lose out by not asking but also I would not expect the school to make up a substantial difference. I would also position it in a way such as "My D/S really loves your school and accept the admittance if the school were able to… " and be ready to provide for the admittance letter with the merit outlined at the school they’re competing against.
