Everyone knows the company, if not the gentleman himself.
Many with Penn connections know him (and his brother) for their philanthropy and many in NYC know him for his healthcare and arts philanthropy. RIP.
His brother is the one who ended up (for the museum) with the Klimt painting Woman in Gold. The family history is very interesting.
Oh, that was such an important book for me. I bought it with my babysitting money and kept it hidden in my room. It answered so many questions I couldn’t or didn’t feel I could ask my mom.
I had it too. I think I had it in college so I didn’t have to hide it - not sure!
Here’s the cover back then - may bring back memories for some others
The one on the left was the “one” in the later 70s
I still have my copy -
Food Network Star Anne Burrell Dead at 55
Fred Smith, founder of FedEx:
Mick Ralphs, from Bad Company, inducted into the Rock Hall later this year. He wasn’t going to make the induction but it’s still a bummer.

That death really got to my H.
Oh, no! My cousin adored him, even has a picture with him. She’s going to be devastated.
Boy, he was so cute. I loved him in Here Come the Brides.
ETA: I just went to FB to see whether she posted anything. I forgot she had made the picture of them together her cover photo back when his diagnosis was announced.
I wasn’t a huge fan but who didn’t love Bobby Sherman? And I am quite sure every Julie DID love him! RIP
I had posters of him in my room.
And how was he that old??
I was a fan but not as much as Donny. I’m gonna be honest, I thought he already had died!
RIP - many senior hearts will be broken today.
Not only did I have many posters of him on my wall thanks to Tiger Beat Magazine, I was a member of his fan club!
When I think of Bill Moyers, I think of The Power of Myth series on PBS with Joseph Campbell.
