I assumed that he died long ago. A name from the past, for sure.

He lived since 1970 in a New York apartment in the Dakota that he bought for $30,000.

And it is a 2BR. I wonder what it will sell for. That’s the building John Lennon lived in.

Inside the NBA did a nice job of talking about Jason Collins. Charles Barkley is always so supportive of the LGBT community.

Then we had to watch the Pistons lose in overtime.

I did. But only because there was a very controversial SNL sketch from the first season, with Chevy Chase and Jane Curtin as sportscasters announcing The Claudine Longet Invitational

I remember it very well. My parents married young and had kids young, but their taste in music was decades older than friends. We watched all the Christmas specials from Andy Williams with Claudine and their kids (and Bing and his kids, and the Lennon Sisters and all the others). We’d just moved to Denver and the shooting happened in Aspen. In the olden days, Aspen was a very conservative place. Remember most of the wealthy who had homes there were second homes, so they didn’t vote and juries were made of ranchers and store owners from the county.

A few years later, Ted Bundy escaped from the jail there. Aspen wasn’t used to all that Hollywood stuff.
