Kyle Busch dying suddenly is just shocking and so sad. My one kid was so into NASCAR when he was young. Busch was awesome to despise - he was cocky, loud, aggressive but an elite driver. He could really get the fans riled up. But off the track he was charitable, a family man and quite funny.
Severe pneumonia that progressed to sepsis.

Cause of death is so sad.
I agree. I have heard that he had very significant back problems, and a few other health problems, but I have no idea whether he was in enough physical pain to have an impact on this. Of course with major contact sports such as hockey we might also wonder about head injuries, but whatever he was suffering from is of course none of my business nor our business.
I remember him as a superb hockey player, particularly in important games such as the playoffs.
I also remember growing up that our heroes were athletes. Now that I am old the athletes of my childhood are also old, and some of them are suffering the consequences of their athletic past. Perhaps being the nerd was not so bad after all.
Agreed, admitedly I did first wonder about possible CTE. He was just at the game in Montreal Monday night, carrying the torch. Lots of video of him interacting with fans and such too. 
He ISN’T deceased, but wasn’t sure where to post this. Peabo Bryson had a stroke and is “under medical care”. I hope he recovers fully.
