More chance if not apply for FA ?

<p>Is that true if I don’t apply for any FA will increase my chance to CMU?</p>

<p>My SAT I is 2300, Math II 800, Physics 780, Bio M 770
GPA is kind of weak, 3.20</p>

<p>No, that only (supposedly) works at schools that are not need-blind. CMU is need-blind, so they do not even look at whether or not you requested financial aid when they are looking at your application.</p>

<p>IS is a match for you, CIT is a very high reach with that GPA. Weighted or unweighted? URM status? Gender? Race?</p>

<p>Also CMU REQUIRES applicants who want to be eligible for MERIT aid to submit all the financial aid forms. So it seems a slam dunk that at CMU you should complete the forms.</p>
