Hi, I was looking around on the web, and found out Harvard also had this Undergratuated program called Computer Science.
Will I have more chance getting in to Computer Science than in to College?

I’m also an International Student from The Netherlands.

Not many people go to harvard for computer science so your chances may increase slightly, but only go into computer science if you want. it sorta sounds like you want to apply for the sake of a higher admission. If your totally serious about computer science, look towards MIT.

First of all, Harvard does not admit by major. Secondly, when you send in an application for Harvard, you apply to the College no matter which major you put down on your application.

That logic may not work for various reasons: it is true that as a liberal arts school Harvard may not have as many CS majors as MIT, but at the same time Harvard is equally unlikely to need as many CS majors as tech schools, so your chance doesn’t necessarily improve merely because fewer Harvard students major in computer science. Also, I do know that a lot of people take CS50 here, the intro course to computer science, so I wouldn’t even say in the first place that those wanting to major in CS are in demand :(.
