more difficult to transfer out of state?

I revously attended a CSU and right now i am at a CCC… i was thinkking out transferring out of state to Nevada UNLV…would it be more difficult for certain units to transfer over since most of my units are from a CSU and CCC? how difficult would it be?

I don’t think it is any harder to transfer out of state then an instate transfer. I am going to a cc right now in Arizona and have been accepted to four year schools in Mass. and California just as easily as in my own state. Having lived in Nevada and visiting UNLV I know that they are very open to transfer students and they do everything they can to accept as much credit as you have. However, it ultimately depends on what type of classes you have taken…like if they would qualify as general requirements or whatever…as long as your cc classes did not have a course title with ‘B’ in it…like ENG101B…would be transferable I believe…the best thing to do would be to email UNLV’s course moderator with your past course descriptions and they will send you back a preliminary course evaluation sheet of what they will accept and then you can go from there…
