LaVieEnChocolat: I was admitted ED II and my SAT scores were 2000 as well, so don’t sweat it!
I actually ‘officially’ sent in my ACT scores, but I don’t think they could have been MUCH better comparatively than my SAT scores…Tufts is really great about considering more than just test scores, if your daughter has good recommendations, extracurriculars, grades etc. her SAT score of 2000 should definitely be MORE than adequate :)

I know it’s a very difficut time for students waiting to hear from schools. March can be an excrutiatingly long month!! I remember being particularly in-tuned to March Madness last year, while we all waited out the long month!

My D is a freshman at Tufts and is totally in love with her experience there so far. She finds the students very smart, interesting, talented, vibrant and not overly competitive in any way. She calls it a “balanced” place. There is a little bit of everything there-high quality academics, Division III sports, great music and theater opportuniites, very active political scene, fabulous guest speakers (she just saw Tony Blair last week!!), and a caring, environmentally-aware student body. Plus, as an extra, the food is fabulous ( I can vouch for that one).

I know the ED numbers can be disconcerting for those still waiting to hear from Tufts. But, in looking on the bright side: If you do manage to get admitted and decide to attend, many of your classmates will be there because it was their first choice above all others!! And that’s great!
