<p>Hello,</p>

<p>I have already submitted my essay to Georgia Tech. However there are two issues:</p>

<ol>
<li><p>I wrote "the states" instead of "The United States" is that a big deal?</p></li>
<li><p>I have made an website as an online resume, but could not mention it in the commonapp because I did the website after I submitted the app. Do you think it is ok if I email the admission's officer for my region and tell her about the website?</p></li>
</ol>

<p>Your use of ‘the states’ is not a big deal. Admissions personnel will understand what you meant.</p>

<p>Don’t send the online resume link. There is a reason the app process does not allow for a resume to be submitted. You should not submit one.</p>
