Throwing 16 year olds into prison with adult offenders is a pretty new phenomenon (at least among certain groups). Prior to the 60s/70s, cases up to 21 with a few violent exceptions were handled by juvie courts. It’s a ridiculous and counter-productive practice that destroys lives.

You mean people are coming around to the idea that juveniles are juvenile? Revolutionary, that.
