More voter registration questions...

I’ve resolved how i’m going to deal with my status (mom sent the card that they had sent me to my current address at my school, i just have to fill it out). Now i have another issue…

As per CO state law, I can vote mail in in the county i’m registered in (i go to school and stay here in a different county). My status update card has on there my address and my mail address. I put my mail address to the school here yes? My mom wants me to have it sent home that way she can just forward it, but I thought it would be easier this way.

Another thing, I can mark to be placed on the permanent mail in ballot list. Would i have to send in another application stating as such? I would assume that this card would be sufficiant (as it has all the same info on it) and that if any other issues come up they could send me something (by law we have to have it in a week before election).

Ideas?

why don’t you do it online?

Just dawned on me when I read your post that my daughter, who got married in May, might not have thought to change her name on her voter’s registration. Texted her, and sure enough she hasn’t. She is going to find out tomorrow if she can still do it before the 24 day before election deadline for issuing new voters registration cards. All her other documents are in her married name - well her drivers license is. Not sure if it will be a problem or not.

I can’t do it online because i don’t have a drivers lisense or a colorado id.
