cnp55, don’t worry. I wear it all the timr. Pantyhose today is not your grandma’s pantyhose! Silky, almost invisible, feels-like-second-skin… Donna Karan, Wolford, and Falke are still in business selling pantyhose. I just would not wear it with sandals or peep-toe shoes or with any footwear if the temp. is over 75 degrees. 
I think pale, goosebump-covered legs sticking out of dark boots (on a grey, rainy evening in Seattle!) is a much worse idea than wearing Wolford skin-toned hose with pumps.
