Hello everyone!
Currently I’m in my sophomore year in college and I decided to take a morning workout class. Usually the class would start around 6-6:30 in the morning, and we would finish in enough time to shower and go to class. My main problem here is that when I start my 9 a.m class I am extremely tired and exhausted, sometimes I can barely keep my eyes open. Are there any tips on how to get an extra boost of energy in the morning for my class? Thanks!
What are you eating after your workout? Make sure you are having some protein afterwards. Hard boiled eggs, greek yogurt, almonds, apple with peanut butter (or almond butter), chocolate milk, …just a few examples.
Great advice @dolphnlvr6. You also can’t get up for a 6 AM obligation day after day without adjusting your bedtime on the other end. If you normally go to bed late and sleep late, and you get up extra early without adjusting when you go to bed, then you are basically doing almost all nighters day after day. Then no matter what you you you won’t be able to stay awake.
I really appreciate the suggestions on food, sometimes I’m in so much of a rush I forget to eat before. Thanks!
@NorthernMom61 thanks for the advice. I’ve been cramed up with assignments lately so I see what you mean, especially since I’m only getting around 4 hours each night. But I will try my best to go to bed earlier.
