Most Amount of Waitlists by Single Student

<p>JC40–where is your daughter going? (as we know the waitlists offer little hope of admission)</p>

<p>She’s still undecided. She received some great offers and is still deliberating which one will be the best fit. She recognizes that statistically, there’s little hope for most waitlist candidates to be called, and she didn’t accept a place on all of them; just a few. I was just blown away, though, by how many she got. Is this “normal” (if there is such a word in college admissions:)?</p>

<p>It’s odd, though, that she’s a strong enough candidate to be waitlisted at Dartmouth and Princeton, and yet was also waitlisted at some of the other schools on that list.</p>
