I am interested in the following colleges:
Duke, Vanderbilt, Rice, Brown, Yale, Princeton, Dartmouth, Amherst, Williams, University of Pennsylvania, Wake Forest, Furman, William and Mary, Harvard, and Georgetown.
Which are cooperative and which are cut throat?

Cut-throat: Duke (ceartian majors are, such as pre med and maybe pre law… others not so much), Yale, Princeton, Dartmouth, Amherst and Williams to an extent, Penn (certain areas), Harvard and Georgetown (Certain Areas)

From someone who applied to or was considering to apply to many of these schools, here’s my opinion:

Cutthroat: Princeton, UPenn, Harvard, and Georgetown

Somewhat Cutthroat: Duke and Yale

Collaborative/cooperative (still competition): Rice, Brown, Wake Forest

Don’t know much about the other schools to comment on them.
