Most beautiful baseball stadium in America

My teeny-tiny niece and nephew are giant Giants fans, so when I was up there visiting last weekend we took in a Giant’s game, my first in AT&T Park. O.M.G. I’m not the biggest baseball fan and I don’t necessarily like yachts, but I LOVE baseball + yachts. Perfect combination.

I used to think Dodger’s Stadium was pretty special. As of last week, I am now a Giant’s fan. Is there a more beautiful stadium in America? Discuss!

Well, last night, Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City was the most beautiful place on earth ;)

It doesn’t get any better than AT&T Park, home of the S.F. Giants, although Red Sox, Cubs, and Padres fans would probably say otherwise.

Agree. That ballpark has amazing views! But we also have something going at the Safe - the funkiest roof!

I like Gerry’s mitt sculpture outside the stadium.
Very people friendly.

Sadly, I have yet to visit AT&T, but I think Busch Stadium is beautiful with its view of the arch. Camden Yards is really pretty too!

I agree, I love Busch Stadium with the view of the arch. Although, I will admit that I am biased…I love the Cardinals! Go Cards!

Lol, I am a Yankees fan so not biased! Still really liked Busch. Looking forward to visiting AT&T sometime.

I have to put in my mention of PNC Park. The announcers on ESPN at last night’s Pirate/Giants game said that they thought PNC and the Giant’s stadium are the two best.

The new style ballparks are a big improvement over the 60s/70s era stadiums. PNC Park is a great experience. That view is really something in person. I haven’t been to the Giants park.

I’ve been to several MLB stadiums but I’ve never found one as beautiful, or as nice a place to be a fan, as Coca-Cola Stadium in Buffalo, NY., home of the minor league Buffalo Bisons.

Fenway Park is a small throwback to the golden days of baseball one hundred years ago. The owners made a lot of improvements including seats on top of the left field fence so fans wouldn’t have to hang on to telephone poles to watch.

I’m partial to Camden Yards, Baltimore. Having said that, Giants fans DO have a great park!

Another vote for PNC Park in Pittsburgh! (try saying that 3 times really fast). When the lights are on, looking over the outfield to the city skyline is quite spectacular. Definitely an improvement over the old 3 Rivers Stadium!

Okay, best ballpark is somewhat subjective but WORST ballpark is just across the bay from my best pick… and the winner of the WORST ballpark is… O.co Coliseum, home of the Oakland Athletics. Also, the home of the Oakland Raiders. Need I say more?

^^Yes, it took over the top spot after we blew up the Kingdome.

I agree the new stadiums are a great improvement. I grew up watching the Indians in Cleveland stadium. I haven’t been to many new ones, PNC is nice.

Are we limited to baseball and/or to pro? Husky Stadium in Seattle is spectacular.

I’ve been to 16 MLB stadiums, so far, including Fenway, Wrigley, Camden Yard, etc. I love SF’s ballpark the best of all of them, and no, I am not from there either!

I was going to say the same thing, LasMa! Thank you. :)
