<p>^ Those are called periods and commas. Please make yourself familiar with when and how they are used. Just fyi, when you want to write a new sentence, you don’t do it by pressing Enter twice. You write a period (aka “.” - it’s in the bottom right corner of your keyboard). Then you capitalize the first letter of the first word in the next sentence by pressing the letter while holding the Shift key. Good luck next time!</p>

<p>I’m sure they would look at the writing section (which shows the personality of the student), it is very important factor. I suggest you call the BU undergraduate admission office or email them, they are very helpful. I also think it would be beneficial to research the school, it shows on various websites (i.e. collegeboard.com) the important admission factors. Hope this could help!</p>

<p>Yeah they do look at every section including writing. I don’t think they will use the essay for admission. I know for sure Northeastern looks at the essay for admission.</p>

<p>You realize you can find all this information on the actual BU website right? Every question you asked could be answered by looking on that site instead of coming here and wasting people’s time. I’m sorry but I just can’t take you seriously. Your “dream” is to spend $50k a year on CGS? You don’t sound like you know anything about BU from all the questions you’re asking; what even makes CGS so compelling to you?</p>
<p>I have a 770 score on the SAT writing section with a sub-score of 75 on the multiple choice section (I missed one) and an essay score of 10.</p>
<p>I’m applying to CAS within BU with a 2220 SAT I, 1430 SAT II (with my two combined), and a 3.75/4.16 GPA (our school weights GPA oddly) with an insane course load (in a fairly competitive school) over the past 4 years (8 science courses, 7 math courses, 5 English courses, 6 social science courses, and 4 foreign language courses - ~20 honors/AP courses combined with some courses that, though not counted as honors, are on the most accelerated track for my school (this was mainly for math/foreign languages).</p>
<p>So, as you can see, I clearly have a better academic profile than you, and I actually write in a coherent format…unlike you. I’m seriously hoping that many students at BU are not like you (I’m almost positive they aren’t because they didn’t appear so when I visited, but you never know), otherwise I might not consider it if I am lucky enough to get admitted.</p>
