<p>What would you say is the most competitive program at BU? I’m applying for Film & Television at COM, so how would you rank that against other programs there? Just out of curiosity. :)</p>
<p>The most competitive program at BU is the 7 year accelerated liberal arts medical education program or BU SMED. That is the program that allows the accepted students to get a Bachelors Degree and a Medical Degree at BU undergrad and BU Medical School in 7 years instead of the usual eight years. The accepted students have provisional acceptance to the Medical School straight from high school. It is just as hard to get into as the toughest Ivies. Acceptance rates are about 10% of applicants and the applicant pool have very high stats. Most applicants are top 1% of their classes and over 2300 SATs.</p>
