<p>News flash: I’m gay. There’s lots of gay people in academia. Homophobia isn’t going to do your career any good. You sound like an intolerant, bigoted jerk and you have a lot of living to do if you expect to make it through graduate school at any institution not run by Jerry Falwell.</p>
