.) He did imply that I was whiny by seeming condescending towards by saying that “identities just need to be memorized,” which implies that I’m being whiny by not understanding something that “my teacher shouldn’t have to teacher me because it’s easy” and that “I’m just being bratty because I don’t get the “easy” stuff”

.) Second, “identities don’t require explanations” was the inappropriate assumption I was referring to. If the entire class doesn’t understand it, then it requires an explanation.

.) Lazy was implied because it read “easily gone home and memorized” as if my entire class and I are lazy students.

.) I’m sorry if I come off as “defensive,” but I don’t appreciate people insulting me when they know nothing but the details I’ve given them from an short anecdote. Maybe poseur didn’t mean for it to be insulting, but that was definitely the tone I got from the way the reply was written.

.) Why did you attempt to validate “whiny” with that sentence in the first place? That was a defensively sarcastic remark, not a “BOO HOO, you’re mean! -cries-” response. He made an inappropriate assumption based on very little knowledge and implied that I was too lazy to memorize the identities and being whiny about my teacher when it was actually “my fault.” Where was the “boo hoo whiny whiny” part?
