Most Overdue Book?

My most overdue library book is “Mr. Lazy” by Roger Hargreaves

It was due August 28, 2000. I was nearly 7 years old at the time. I am now 16.

The book has been overdue for the majority of my life.

I moved a few towns north and I do not go to that library anymore.

(random side note) I checked out 1984 by George Orwell this year at the school library but they never asked for it back, nor did I get a fine. I kept it and it is now mine.

Oops meant to post this in high school life… Move it?

1) If you have the book and if you have a conscience, you would return the book.
2) No, that’s not the most overdue book. According to the internet, there was a book from Washington and Lee University that was 145 years overdue.

Ha, I checked out a book when I was 7 that I never returned. I’m now 18. Oops. :P

I think I may have lost a book on CD that I checked out in 8th grade. I really don’t remember. My mother probably found it and returned it. That’s what usually happens.

Besides that, I still have three books I checked out in December and a book I checked out in October. I’ll return them. I just have to remember to do it. I sometimes think “Oh, there must be other people longing to chek these out,” but no one had ever checked out the book I got in October, not since it had been published, and the three I got in December, no one had checked out for, oh, perhaps 10 years.
