Most Selective Year

According to The Choice NYTimes blog, Wesleyan had its most selective year ever, admitting 2,125 out of 10,656 aplicants, for a 19.94% acceptance rate.

By comparison, Williams was 18.12%, Cornell 18.40%, Pomona 14.48%, and Swarthmore 16.01%. Congrats to all who were admitted! To those who weren’t - I bet many were qualified; there were just too many apps and not enough seats in the class - you will find somewhere that you love.
