motivate me!

I am losing motivation to prepare for the ACT, practicing less day by day. It’s like watching a train wreck in action.

uhh how do I get my mojo back?

haha, i tried to practice for it, but it’s suchhhhhhhhhhhhhh a boring test. SAT prep wasn’t even half as boring. I got no advice for you since I’m in the same dilemma. Anyone have any luck with concentrated practice?

same problem. i got 40 more days till next act trying to get 31+ but soo boring… i try studying 2 hours everyday, but i can only do 1 hour at the most… i kee[ [utting it off

Ok, I think I found a solution. My cousin is a body builder who is getting his M.D. right now, and I told him about my problem. He told me to get this stuff called Spike. Its this supplement that gives you ridiculous focus, he told me he used it when he was studying for his MCATs

that’s the link. I just ordered some, I’ll give a review when it comes in.

For those of you who do not wish to use mind altering drugs, I suggest green tea.

till then I’m off to do a few math sections

I heard green tea was pretty good too. I’d get that spike stuff, but my parents would never let me, haha.

Prism, I’m looking forward to your review on “Spike.” I’m reluctant to try any type of supplement of that nature and they’re pretty expensive. But if they can help people get energy to do the test then they should go for it. Good luck.

Umm, I’d personally stay away from any synthetic stuff like that around test time.

And if you feel the absolute need to use supplement-ish stuff (roll eyes), stick with Focus Factor, since it’s free.

(Yes, that was a kind-of-joke. Don’t ask me about the FF stuff; I don’t know anything about it besides what I see from those ads in the Washington Post and Parade magazine. You don’t know how anything unnatural could adversly affect your body!)

As for true motivation, think “Just you wait, this is the stuff that’s going to get me into [insert college of your dreams here]!”

Haha, Kryptonsa I see those focus factor commercials on television all the time (they’re usually on at 3 am in the morning because that’s the target audience). I have to agree, it’s probably better to stay away from supplements.

i chugged an amp before i took the test the first time…it was probably about the dumbest thing ive done in my life …i swear to god i couldnt read the text because my eyes were watering so bad

needless to say i got horrible scores, so i wouldnt advise it
