i am planning to transfer to mount st. vincent college
i know its near the bronx and i want to major in the nursing program
can anyone tell me about this college</p>

<p>The Mount is in the Riverdale section of the Bronx–a very, very safe neighborhood, at least by NYC standards. It used to be all female and was the “sister school” to Manhattan College, which was all male. Both are Catholic colleges. There was some talk of merging the two in the '70s, but Manhattan went co-ed on its own and the Mount followed. </p>
<p>The nursing school is highly regarded in New York State. </p>
<p>The school has a relatively diverse student body. </p>

<p>I live in Riverdale , so I can tell you that it is beyond safe. The population here is mostly Jewish.At a time even the Kennedy’s lived here , so do not worry that it is in the Bronx. Mount ,as we call it here, is very well known for its nursing program.It has great career placement for nursing. It is a small school with a nice campus. The school is very diverse and most people that go their are very happy with their college experience. I know numerous people that go their or have gone and have told me so.</p>
