Move in day

just wondering does sd provide meals for parents/family helping us move in?

No. Get your own food.

/thread

^Was that necessary? -_-

I mean really, I think it’s pretty clear that there won’t be food. That would cost way too much money and this is a public institution, not USC.

Hell, I was at a USC move in 2 years ago, and there was little support of any kind there.

“/thread”

im assuming this means “dumb” thread or sumthing.

^No, I think that means end thread.

It’s a funny question though, you’ll soon realize UCSD provides the bare minimum and nothing else. you still have to buy your own bluebooks and scantrons for your midterm/final exams

@audioslavery Eh. Not true. When I helped my sister moved in at UCI a year ago, they had hamburgers and hot dogs for everyone. And when I moved into the dorms at Warren, the OLs helped me moved in.

I think most of use would agree that we wouldn’t care to pay an extra 20k a year for some cheap food for our parents at orientation though.
