Hi all,

Can I still move in at 5-6 pm tomorrow? Or is it better to arrive in the morning?

Thanks.

You can move in whenever through sunday. I’d recommend being there the first night so you can meet everyone. But as in how early to start, that depends on which building you’re moving into. Tell us and we can give you a better idea.

Definitely get here before moratorium on the Row however (friday or saturday I don’t remember anymore)

Thanks for the quick reply - I’m moving into Pardee; would it be okay to move in this late (around 6?

Either really early or really late. Pardee only has 2 elevators I think, and for a 7 story dorm they will be swarmed. Pardee = party however so be there for the first night. This week you have no classes to worry about so enjoy it.

What about IRC?

IRC has a lot fewer floors so any time should be OK. Also IRC has suites, which is better in a lot of ways but makes it much harder to meet new people. IRC is much less social than Pardee, Birkrant, and especially New North. Then again New North is like a maze, I always got lost. You have to make new friends just to find your way out.

GET THERE BEFORE 5! I don’t know if you’ll get to see this in time but pretty sure check-in closes at 5… might not be able to get your keys. Although if your roommate is there I guess it won’t be a problem.
