I have a bit of a problem. I am the captain of my Science Academic Super Bowl team and we’ve made it to state. The only problem is the competition is the same day i was scheduled to take the SAT. Science is last so it isn’t set to start until about 2:30. I have the option to change my test site and drive 2 hours away that morning and take the SAT on campus, (where ASB is) or i could spend the night with a friend there. I am trying to raise my score from a 1950 to at least a 2100. Basically what I’m asking is is this a good idea or would i be better off skipping ASB.

Spend the night with the friend, do the ASB. There will always be another test date for the SAT. The ASB is a one-time shot. A 1950 plus being captain of a team competing at state a much louder statement to a college than a 2100 and skipping the ASB, especially since you’re the captain.

I agree with BigIs. Try to do both that day and if you’re not happy with the SAT score, Take it again!
