How will the student be evaluated for UC admissions if moving to California after completing grade 11 in Texas - both public high schools

What should we be aware of

Do you mean for residency? Is the family moving too - i.e. the student’s support?

Beginning 366 days before the start of classes at UC, the student must be physically present in California and take actions indicating intent to stay (listed in the page linked below). If the student is not financially independent of parents for college financial aid purposes, the parents need to do the same things.

Yes all of us will be moving - we are originally from Cali and now moving back
