Just an observation here. Son had an apartment off campus for his junior and senior year; shared with two roommates. They all moved out at the end of April. Son got another apt not far away as he will work in the same city. My husband and I helped him make the move.
I could not believe the amount of c.r.a.p. my son had accumulated in two short years. He threw some stuff away. Sent other stuff home. Took a lot to the new place.
Sometimes he tells me he’s looking to live a minimalistic lifestyle. After helping him move, I said, “this doesn’t look minimalistic to me.” And he just didn’t really think what I was saying held any merit! Just didn’t!
Ah, well. its his to move next time.
