Moving to Texas Senior Year - A Few Questions

Hey everyone,

So I am a junior in high school and I’m moving to Texas (probably Austin) this summer and therefore I’ll finish off high school there. Right now I am looking at UT Austin for Physics, so I have a few questions on how admissions work.

  1. How is class ranking done? Is it weighted or unweighted?

  2. How competitive are schools in Texas? What GPAs are in the top 7% at your schools?

Any other advice would be greatly appreciated!
