Moving to the Pittsburgh area

Looking for a good quality public high school with a solid boys’ basketball program.

We are moving from the Hershey area. My H will be working in Warrendale. My S is just beginning HS, and we’re trying to make the move as easy on him as possible.

In that area, Seneca Valley, North Allegheny, and Hampton had good basketball results last year. Since Warrendale is near the turnpike, you could also expand your search.

http://www.wpial.org/stuff/12-13/bb/12-13%20bb-b%204a%20brax.pdf

Hampton is a much smaller district that the other 2, but is considered a good district. North Allegheny is a large district and is usually considered very good academically. Seneca Valley encompasses a large geographic area, mix of suburb/rural. You can look up rankings somewhere. We do not live in any of the districts I mentioned.
