MPP Program in Japan

Dear All,

Looking for an opinion for MPP Programs in Japan (Tokyo University, GRIPs) You can even recommend universities in the US if you think I have a chance.

Grades:

Undergrad/Graduate: Imperial College London
MEng (4th Year) : Lower Division 2nd Class Honors (really low)
BEng (1st to 3rd year) : Upper Division 2nd Class Honors (high average)

Note: The university does not provide a bachelors certificate in 3rd year, only a masters in 4th year. That’s the problem I am facing at the moment. I am wondering if it is a good idea to ring up the university and see if I can get a 3rd year certificate for my bachelors.

References: Good - not amazing

Work Experience:

Arup: Working currently as an Engineering for over a year in buildings, generally do simulation work and modelling (Hong Kong)

Ernst and Young: Corp Finance/Auditor (for about 9 months) (Hong Kong)

Ernst and Young: Corp Finance (London) Internship (8 weeks)

HSBC: Global Transaction Services (Internship) (8 weeks)

I know my grades are a bit crap in the final years so I’m looking to do the GRE to push myself fowards. Wondering if you guys have any opinion on this.

Anything will help, some advice interms of what i can do if i want to make a switch in my career towards policy-based work.
