<p>Our junior D was rejected… she is very accomplished and has won many awards for her singing so her talent is not a question just perhaps not a good match for the program. I imagine that could also be the case for others who were not invited to participate. Afterall the sorting hat will decide their college future so it is time to get used to the new reality that some will absolutely love you and other colleges will not. Bitter sweet in IL </p>

<p>Ok, wondering if anyone in this feed has any words of wisdom on Cap21 studios vs MPulse summer programs… My D was accepted to both , but we no very little about either… We know nobody who has gone this route…

Divamamacita, we’re in San Jose area - going to an intensive end of May in Folsom. It’s a great program with great people. </p>
<p>Pookie, from what I understand, Cap 21 is more industry based (preparing for college auditions comes only in the last 2 weeks) rather than all about college. Cap 21 is not directly connected to any school I don’t believe, though it was at one time connected to NYU. I would look at faculty because that will speak volumes about what the program is. I think Cap 21 is like 6 weeks long as well! </p>
<p>Hey everyone! I attended MPulse last year. Please let me know if your son or daughter has been accepted to MPulse so last year’s MPulse MTs can add your son or daughter to the Facebook group. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask!! Also regarding Cap21, this is opinion but do MPulse the year before college auditions! I think it will benefit the most before audition season! </p>

I don’t know how many applied because that information is kept within UMich, but it is several hundred and 40 get picked to attend MPulse.</p>
<p>My daughter declined, so there should be one wait list spot opening up! </p>
