I’m applying to Columbia Engineering this year but not expecting to get in (just being realistic - I have a 4.0, am number 1 in class, but have average ECs and SATs) anyways, I noticed that there is a one year graduate program for Financial Engineering and the prerequisites seem pretty basic - sufficient background in calculus, linear algebra, etc. So my question is, if I undergrad in Mathematics at a school like Wesleyan or Williams, I should be capable of getting into and handling the one year MSFE program at Columbia, correct?
