Hi everyone!!
Sorry that I couldnt make the post short!!

GRE/TOEFL: Yet to take in November
undergrad: Material Science, IIT Kharagpur (will be graduating with a Dual Degree in 2014)
CGPA: 7.55/10, GATE 2013 AIR:43 out of 3000 candidates in metallurgy (GATE: Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, AIR: All India Rank)
Confused over: Which will be better for me MS in Material Science/Industrial Engineering (MSIE), or Engineering Management (MEM) when I lastly will be doing MBA after 5-6 years from now?

It will be really grateful if someone can help for anything below.
- Jobs (nature-managerial, consulting, R&D etc /salaries/locations) after MS in material science for Indian students in US. (Interested in TAMU because tuition fees are less)
- Salary (Interested in manufacturing industries/consulting & strictly not R&D)
- Problems related to Visa, (Work/Student visa) if any.
- Best ways to get Financial aids.
(already searching sites but its better to be specific)

Some points bothering me:
- whether to go for MS in Material Science/ Industrial Engineering (MSIE)/Engineering Management (MEM) (As I am not highly motivated by studying metallurgy and; Industrial engg I have kept it as an option because I want to have an industrial (interdisciplinary: consulting/manufacturing) job experience from US, prior to MBA.
- Take a job here in India and do MBA (abroad) after 4-5 years.
- Doing MBA down the line is sure for me.
- MS in materials science: does it really make sense when I already will be having an M.Tech degree from India (One of my reason to keep Industrial engineering as an option because eventually I want to move away from mat sci. after MBA)
- MS in mat sci. will be easier to me than industrial engg. because of background as well as for getting financial aids.

Need guidance.
