<p>I am going to apply CEE in Berkeley, Stanford, MIT. Do a lot of applicant choose MS/PhD over M.S simply to get funding ? ? Do graduate schools give funding like to MS/PHD over M.S ??? MS/PhD is not a commitment for PhD, that is my understanding. I appreciate other opinions on this.</p>
<p>ms/phd is a commitment for phd. You can quit early but you will probably annoy a lot of people. </p>

<p>Lol. I guess i am ur brother. I am not sure about the commitment. I heard RA is offered through Professors and Fellowship and TA are offered through department and University. Just want to make how graduate school allocate fellowships, mostly by students’s intention for Phd ?</p>
