<p>I am an EE student that’s going to be attending Stanford 2008-2009 for my MS/PhD. Right now, I’m planning on deferring the first quarter for a whole bunch of reasons…</p>
<p>My only fear is that I’m screwing myself socially by skipping the first quarter. Any thoughts or is this something that really doesn’t matter in the end?</p>
