MSN school w/ macbook

Older daughter never had a problem with printing papers, while she had a powerbook, her campus was very Mac-centric and her last two years on campus her workstudy job even was working in the technology dept, so she had free printing and didn't need a printer of her own.

Alas, younger D is having problems with her new Macbook, she doesn't have room for a printer in her room, there isn't a printer in the dorm, and she has been emailing her papers to her profs, but I doubt if the formatting is being retained in all cases, plus it is very helpful to have a hard copy to proof.

She hasn't been able to get the printers on campus to work with her computer, I haven't suggested she email tech services yet-or even know what she has tried, but I wanted to ask what applications others use, or even if anyone has found a printer with a tiny footprint that doesn't suck ink.

I was thinking about a wireless printer, cause then it wouldn't physically have to be connected to her computer, but the way they have their room arranged there isn't any place to put it ( I of course could think of a way they could rearrange their room, but I am not going to suggest it, are you crazy? ;) )

she can't email it to herself and access the file on a campus computer?

or put it on a flash drive and then print it out?

my school also has a space on our personal school page where we can store documents for this very purpose.

*i work in a campus computer lab, btw :)

She has only been in school for a month- so I don't know what has been tried so far- but I will mention it- I also just learned about Google Docs, where you can store something online- I am going to ask if she has tried that as well.
