will msu turn anyone down if they have a decent gpa and good courseload with good extracurriculars but a 21 on the ACT?

They can. Whether or not they will is up in the air. It is based on many factors and it is not really a question we can answer. We’ve said it before, I’ll say it again. Just apply early and do well on your essays. None of us can say definitively whether or not you’ll get in.

How many times did you take it? Is that your Michigan ACT score or one of the national test dates? Most kids can kick it up a couple points simply by taking it a second time. If you decide not to, apply early as 21 average is on the lower end for MSU.

@romani i know i know its just worth a try to ask
@ momofthethree its the national test date from june, the michigan school date i did worse. but my individual scores are average like 24 in math.
