Congrats! I don’t know much about the program but we did go for a campus tour in spring of ‘22 and saw a performance of The Wedding Singer there. The campus is really pretty, more so than any other SUNY I’ve seen - and I’ve seen and attended a few.
The show was good, not great, though also limited by the material! For sure, there are some very talented performers there but all in all it was imo less elevated than shows we’ve been lucky to see at some BFA programs. Some of the cast were also non majors fwiw.
I know this isn’t necessarily the most fair way to judge a program but we weren’t able to get a department specific tour so this was a data point.
