<p>I would guess that a workshop is a <em>work</em> session: you would need (I would think) to wear comfortable clothing that is easy to move around in. But if you don't know, why not pick up the telephone and call whoever is giving the workshop to ask this question? If you are wondering, others are, too. No one will fault you for calling the person conducting the workshop to ask what to wear. It's an appropriate question.</p>
