<p>Is it possible to get a B.A. in a major such that I had a choice for both Physics Ph.D. and Civil Engineering Ph.D.? I thought of Berkeley for a Physics Doctorate, but I’m also interested in Civil Engineering for it’s work opportunities. Any hints?</p>
<p>Perhaps you can look at PhD programs in both majors to see what their expectations of undergraduate preparation are, and see if it is possible to fit the needed course work to prepare for both into your undergraduate study (presumably majoring in one and taking additional electives in the other, if it is doable).</p>

<p>It is highly unlikely you’ll be able to major in two such challenging and disparate majors (at least in four or five years).</p>
